Canyoning fun in the Maggia Valley

This gorge is located in the lower Maggia Valley, less than 20 minutes from Locarno. The tour is a bit shorter than the other level 1 tours, but that doesn't mean that the fun factor is less here! On the contrary, this canyon section in the lower Val Grande is one of the most popular canyoning routes in Ticino! Radical slides, challenging jumps and a beautiful waterfall (named Little-Niagara) make this tour an absolute highlight in the canyoning scene! After getting to know each other and initial instructions, we change clothes and set off on the 30-minute ascent. After that, the safety instructions follow at the entry of the canyon and off we go...!
The tour usually lasts about 4-5 hours from the meeting point to the farewell, although the times are highly dependent on the size of the group and the conditions on site.

We meet at the indicated parking lot right next to the main road (bus stop Gordevio). Here the individual canyoning material is distributed, then we change clothes and start walking. Everything that is not needed on the tour can be locked in the cars. At the end of the tour we will return to the parking lot.
